Karachi University convocation 2011

Registrar, University of Karachi (KU) Prof. Muhammad Kaleem Raza Khan has issued notification regarding annual convocation that is expected to be held in September 2011 and asked the prospective graduates from the semester system to get them registered for the same.

The university will confer degrees to the students who have passed Bachelors (Honours), B.S., PharmD-D, Masters and M.Pharm in the academic year 2009 and 2010. (more…)

KU announces examination dates ,2011

The University of Karachi on Sunday announced that the date for submission of examination forms and fee for the MA programme and improvement of division for external examinations would be submitted without late fee of Rs2,200 from April 11 to May 09, 2011.

The registrar said in a statement that all those candidates registered in 2004 or earlier would appear at the MA external annual examination as their last chance. They are required to pay Rs5,000 extra in addition to the normal examination fee. Meanwhile, incomplete examination forms will not be accepted under any circumstances, he added. (more…)

University of Karachi announces MA IR results

Examinations Department of the University of Karachi (KU) has announced on Monday the results of MA International Relations (Final) External Annual Examination 2009. Zubida Sadiq stood first with 673 marks, Ena Junejo second with 656 marks and Aamir Jalal third with 652 marks. As per statistics of the results 2,316 candidates were registered, 2,198 appeared in the examinations, out of which 738 were declared as pass. (more…)

Grading system for BS students at Karachi University

The Registrar, University of Karachi (KU), has announced that at a meeting of the Deans of the faculties, it has been decided that the B.S. students of Batch 2007, admitted in 2006, will be assessed according to examination and assessment rules, 2002, Booklet (Page 6-7).

The overall grading for declaration of final results of Division System for the students of 2006-7 batch would be according to the following criteria: first division, 60 percent and above; second division, 45 percent and less than 60 percent; less than 45 percent would lead to the failure in the aggregate.
