Students display innovative ideas at ‘Open House’
0Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik, Rector, and Dr Mumtaz Ahmad, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), inaugurated the second annual Open House here on Monday.
They along with senior faculty members visited the projects displayed by the students. Appreciating the students for the efforts, the IIUI president stressed the need for bringing new ideas in the energy sector. High achievers awarded at IIUI
0Women executive officers have great potential to play in development of the country and would lead the private sector in near future, said International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) President Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed.
He was addressing the participants of High Achiever’s Award Ceremony held at Faisal Mosque Campus of IIUI on Wednesday. He said that discrimination against women in Pakistan and other countries is a major obstacle in way of their empowerment. IIU students win business plan contest
0The business plans by female students of the International Islamic University in Discover The NUST Business Plan Competition are ranked among few of the best plans presented in the competition.
The two-day first round of workshop was organised by NUST where the participants competed for best Elevator Pitch on the first day. Two groups of IIU female students secured first and third positions. IIU chief seeks notification of self-enhanced salary
0The incumbent President of International Islamic University (IIUI) is reportedly running from pillar to post to get ratification of allegedly increased salary worth half a million rupees from the Board of Governors’ (BoG) forthcoming meeting scheduled for Monday (December 6).
According to the agenda and working papers for the 65th meeting of the BoG, enhancement of salary of Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui, President, IIUI on the basis of announcement by the Government of Pakistan has been included.
