Lahore, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Lahore) has announced the intermediate annual examination schedule for the year 2012.
According to the board chairman Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik, intermediate exams will start from the May 6, 2012.
Admission forms with single fee can be submitted from February 7 to March 2. Admission forms with double fee can be submitted from March 3 to March 12, while with triple fee forms can be submitted from March 13 to 22.
LAIIORE, Nov 15: Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Chairman Mehar Bashir Ahmad informed a judicial commission that the Punjab Group of Colleges and ‘Booti mafia’ had managed the protests against messed-up intermediate results during which building and furniture of the board was ransacked and burnt.
However, this information did not astonish the commission comprising Justice Chaudhry Shahid Saeed and he went on to say, “I know the influence and penetration of this group in obtaining good results for its students. The Lahore board administration has failed to solve the Result Late (RL) issue that aroused due to the error-based Intermediate results, despite a passage of 18 days since result’s announcement.
The students, along with their parents and teachers were paying regular visits to the board’s office to get their result cards, however, the board officials were unable to issue them the results despite their several claims and promises.
The board officials had claimed to solve the issue within three to four days but remained unsuccessful in fulfilling these promises.
The negligence of the officials had put the students, parents as well as the teachers in turmoil since the new academic year had been delayed owing to disruption in the admission process at graduate level because of the result fiasco. Continue reading
The Education Department has formally sent the notification to all the boards including Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISE) asking them to announce the Matric (SSC) result on August 2.
BISE Rawalpindi Spokesman Irslan Cheema said, “we have received a letter from the Education Department regarding announcement of Martic result on August 2. Previously there was no proper notification regard the deadline for announcing the result.
He said, “we are compiling the Matric result and will announce it on August 2 at 11 a.m. at Government Post Graduate College for Women, Rawalpindi. He said that the shopkeepers could buy the copy of gazette from any branch of Habib Bank for Rs1,200. “The result will also be available on the website of RBISE,” he said. Continue reading
