The first merit list for the admissions to the Government College University (GCU) four-year BA/BSc (Hons) was displayed on Tuesday.
This year, minimum merit for admission to BSc (Hons) Biotechnology is 936 marks, BSc (Hons) Botany 821 marks, Chemistry 920, Electronics 853 marks, Environment Science 836, Mathematics 864, Microbiology 920, Physics 860, Zoology 866, Business, Accounting and Finance 896, Economics 862, BA (Hons) Geography 791 marks, History 819, Philosophy 709, Political Science 863, Psychology 830, Statistics 740, Islamic Studies 698, Persian 615 while the minimum merit for admission to BA (Hons) Urdu is 713 marks.
The second merit list will be displayed on September 28, 2010. The university has also displayed the list of the candidates who have qualified the written test for admission to BA (Hons) English Literature.
