Ive had my Jimny for a year, now. I have to say that owning the Jimny has been an altogether great experience. I have been completely satisfied with Paul Trout, the sales person. He has shown a high level of professionalism, from the test drive, through the actual purchase, and in his continuing interest in me and my Jimny. The car itself has been very reliable (this was one of the reasons for buying a Suzuki), and has propelled my as far North as Karijini National Park, via the West coast, along the Holland Track from Hyden to Coolgardie, then on to Kalgoorlie and Ora Banda. Ive also had it South as far as Windy Harbour. All this has been done with the Jimny absolutely crammed with camping gear! I drove back from the Karijini Eco Resort in one hit; it took me 17.5 hours but I can honestly say that I didnt feel wrecked when I arrived home at 12:40 am. I have made some major modifications to the Jimny: 1. Removed the back seats and constructed a shelf arrangement, which allows me to carry my 40 litre Engel fridge and all the camping gear. 2. Had a Bull bar fitted. 3. Installed a 50mm Old Man Emu (ARB) suspension lift kit. 4. Installed an auxiliary battery in the back, to run the fridge lighting and air compressor. I would have no trouble recommending the Jimny to anyone.The only caveat is that you have to "get" it. Get that it is a small car, with a small engine, and "short legs". In other words, dont expect it to perform like a normal road car! BUT they DO excel as a 4WD. Go on - take a test drive!
Wouldnt go anywhere else. This was by far the best experience we have had at a car yard , Tim was amazing and looked after us so well , helped us find the best car for our family and of course the best deal. He made sure that we were 100% happy wth everything and kept us in the loop with what was happening at each stage . Perfect experience couldnt fault it. We will be coming here for all our purchases in the future.
Terrible experience today. Cannot fault Crystal in her service however the way I was treated by her boss has turned me off from ever returning to this dealership ever again. I was made to feel like a second class citizen and was left feeling extremely upset all day. Make sure you go in dressed in your finery as they obviously judge you by looks as to whether you can afford one of their cars or not.
My experience at Rockingham Suzuki was perfect. I couldnt have asked for more. The day was outstanding, with pleasant customer service but also showing the details of the car. The unveiling of my vehicle in the showroom had me in happy tears, that I had bought the perfect car for all of my needs. I will definitely be buying my next vehicle from this car dealership.
