Service dept, what a joke. I spoke with them regarding fittment of a towbar. I was quoted a price of $650 and subsequently booked the car in. When the bill arrived the price of the towbar had gone up to $695 as well as a huge bill for fittment. The service advisor told me he always says plus fitting but i can definitively say he did not. Had this have been the case i would have used an independent towbar company as $600-$700 is the usual going rate. I previously took a vehicle to them for work out how an interior vanity light appeared to be inoperable. This vehicle was still under new car warranty. When i came to collect the car they said the exterior headlights had to be on for the interior vanity light to work. What annoyed me was i the fact i was charged for the time to inspect. Normally i wouldnt complain, as it turned out it wasnt a mechanical issue at all, but the staff at the service counter didnt know that about thier own makes and models plus the operation for that function wasnt even in the owners manual! how was i supposed to know how to operate my vehicle correctly if the staff that sell and service the cars cant tell me and it wasnt in the books. Ill tell you, CHARGE ME! Thanks very much. Will be avoiding this place at all costs and will be telling others to do the same.
An absolute disgrace of a place. My partners car broke down on the freeway on the way to work in the morning. He needed his car desperately for work that afternoon and the next day and went into Phoenix Holden because they told him they could fix it by that afternoon. RAC then towed the car to the dealership and told him at 1pm that afternoon they wouldnt be able to fix it till the next afternoon. Its extremely unprofessional to say to a customer that you can do something for them, then go specifically there to get it done in that time frame to them be told it wont be done. The job ended up costing $1077 which is absolutely fine for fixing a car but then was told us there would be a 3% surcharge on AMAX when personally, I think is distrusting. We are spending more then a grand and you expect us to add 3% onto that. No. Not on. Due to the fact that we were told the car would be ready by that afternoon and we specifically went there to get it done to get it back ASAP, to then be told it wouldnt be done, we will not be going back or recommending this to anyone. Save yourselves a favour and save yourself the time, money and patience and just go somewhere else.
booked / dropped off for service ,,picked up hire car,,,they called when car was ready to be picked up ,,,,no dramas, car runs sweet,,,all good, very professional or so i thought ,,a week later i received a letter from the service dept stating that my car requires an INDUCTION SERVICE ,,and an INJECTOR SERVICE,,nothing had been mentioned when they were carrying out the 45,000 kl service the car was in for,,they didnt call me either to advise these works were required ,it wasnt mentioned at any time prior to pickup ,,it wasnt mentioned when i paid my invoice ,i cannot believe that a car that has only traveled 45,000kl requires a carbon clean ,if it really does ,this surely should be part of the fixed price service that was being carried out,now if i require these services to be carried out ,,and i restate the IF,,i have to rebook my car in ,,rearrange for someone to pick me up in the morning drop me off again in the afternoon or hire a car from them or be dropped off at a train station. NOT BLOODY HAPPY HOLDEN,,
DONT BOTHER wasting your time and money on the Phoenix Holden SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They charged me $145+ for 1 hour car diagnostic and didnt even get the job done that I wanted. My car still indicated that it needed another service after getting serviced here. Had to come back 3-4 times to complain that the engine malfunction light on the dashboard was still showing even after I payed for them to fix it. Spent over $800+ on services which is a complete rip off because they freely charge you any amount they want. After spending $800+ on services, my car STILL indicated that it needed another service so I went to a different auto repair place and they ONLY charged me $35 and FIXED EVERYTHING. Also, the guy quoted me $419 to fix the problem with my car, after it was fixed, he called me up to collect it and told me it was $574. My experience with Phoenix Holden was absolutely terrible because I had to keep going back because they COULDNT GET THE JOB DONE and charged me ridiculous prices.
Went in to look at vehicles to meet very specific standards and explained this to them. One was that the vehicle must be mechanically sound as I was studying and financially strained which I communicated over and over. The vehicle is now in for its fourth time and service is yet again going "not our problem". Cant get people to return my calls. One time it broke down they didnt even fix it, gave me the keys and said well see if it breaks down again (I live rural)! I had to insist that they at least tested things there and then otherwise they would have to cover the potential costs of the breakdown. They still havent fixed it properly and are saying that its not there problem. When I said I wasnt prepared to have their dep fix it given the track record they turned around and said well its not really drivable, the technician has pulled it apart. Im a cruisy individual and generally live and let live but Ill never be a repeat customer. I spent over 20k there and I still havent got my car back.

I had recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Phoenix Holden. After frequenting numerous dealers in my surrounds to compare vehicles, Phoenix Holden was a stand-out. I was not expecting such a pleasant experience after what I felt to be generally poor customer service from surrounding dealers. Salesman Damian was able guide me through relevant vehicles available in their fleet after listening to both my needs and budget. He was very knowledgeable in regard to all the vehicles in their pre-owned fleet - not just their Holden vehicles. I was never rushed during the process, and they were happy to let me test drive their vehicles without making me feel like I had to commit to a purchase beforehand. Simon was also extremely helpful and patient during the process regarding finance. I found the team at Phoenix Holden very friendly, approachable, and professional. I recently attended a scheduled service for my Holden Trax. The service was conducted by Phoenix Holden in Wangara. From the start with the booking consultant to the end when the service was concluded and my car was handed back to me by te service advisor, the experience was awesome. The booking was scheduled to meet my requirements and when I arrived at the dealership, I was professionally welcomed by the service advisor and the car was promptly attended while I waited in their comfortable customer lounge. The time passed quickly as I was able to have unlimited hot drinks and also had access to a selection of magazines and daily newspapers. Once the service was completed, the car was thoroughly washed and vacuumed and the service advisor accompanied me to the car for handover, checking to ensure that I was satisfied with the experience. First class staff and facilities that the service manager can be very proud of and rightfully so!
