Dismal attempted sales experience. I asked to purchase a manual vehicle, shown an automatic. Sales staff didnt arrange my trade vehicle evaluation efficiently at all. Quite inconvenient; I was called back after I had left the premises. Assessor rang me after fifty minutes when he said hed ring in ten. I drove my vehicle during the road assessment and the assessor wanted me to do a circle on bitumen with Low Range and Diff locked. No way mate. Glad I went with him. Sales staff wouldnt give me a change-over price in the manner that I requested viz. "Best offer". What a waste of my time. I have had great experiences with one other Mitsubishi dealership in Perth and a Honda/Kia dealer in Bunbury; those experiences make customers keen to go back again and again but this dealer didnt show the professionalism and customer service that I expect. Just in case the vehicle assessor reads this: "Transmission wind-up can create expensive damage to tyres, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, drive shafts and CV Joints."
My wife & I have bought many cars over the years, with most experiences leaving us frustrated, more like going into battle rather than a pleasurable experience. After compiling our short list of suitable vehicles we went on the hunt. Purely by chance we called into Your dealership, thought we had gone into the wrong place. Happy, friendly, interested, courteous, knowledgeable (without blinding us with statistics) team of professionals. Well we ended up buying a beautiful ASX XLS, all handled without any dramas. Cant wait to buy our next vehicle. Heart felt thanks to, Justin, Craig, Luke, Tavern, Mark and the service team. PS. Helen brought the car in for a routine service, without any hesitation nor prompting she was given a courtesy vehicle. Other dealers learn from these consummate professionals, not how to do it well, but very well. All the best for 2016 & on. Another PS, Youll do very well with your new Pajero Sport. Had my car serviced here for its first two services and havent gone back- they completed a wheel alignment and oil flush without calling and asking/informing me so when I got there to pick it up I had to pay a lot more than expected. I then went to another mechanic and they said that the wheel alignment at my last service looked like it hadnt even been completed properly so this meant that my tyres had been wearing down due to them being out of alignment for so long and I needed new ones. When I sent an email complaining someone called me and was so rude and condescending telling me it was my fault and I felt like I was being taken advantage of just because I was female and they assumed I knew nothing about cars. As soon as they spoke to a male the man was no where near as rude. They also tried to tell me that my factory warranty would be void if I didnt service it with them next time. Will never be going back.
5 STAR COMMENT WAS MADE BY A STAFF MEMBER (David Zendner) - DO NOT RELY ON THAT. I would NOT recommend anyone to buy a car from Melville Mitsubishi. The new car sales man (as named above) was very good at telling customer lies, half truths, making false promises, and changing his word once you had signed the forms. What a horrible bad car buying experience, and even worst customer service after by the whole team. Furthermore thought the drama was over as we bought the car a few months ago and was promised a free first service due to their mistakes, and went we went back to book our first car service, we were told that nothing had been stated on the record regarding a free service - yet another lie months after we had thought we were done with them.
What a wonderful experience! Went to buy a secondhand car but the offer on the new Mitsubishi Mirage was too good to miss. The sales consultant, Trevor Courcha, was a gentleman and took time to throughly explain what I would get for my money. Alexandra Marklew arranged for my windows to be tinted and Marnie Riou sorted out my car insurance. The team are very professional and I wouldnt hesitate to highly recommend them. Collecting my car was an amazing event in itself. The car was undercover in the showroom and was unveiled to me, it was so exciting. Thank you, I am so happy with my new car
Called up to enquire about these guys doing some work on my Mitsubishi Triton, pretty much wanted to know if they were able to do the job or not. Spoke to the receptionist who passed on my message to the mechanic. Was told that they wouldnt even speak to me unless I had my car booked in!? Why would I book my car in if I dont even know they can do the job? Absolutely disgusting customer service!!! Ended up finding another dealership who carried out the work and they got my future business. Dont even bother calling their number, they clearly dont want the work.
Bought a Mitsubishi Lancer LS from these guys in October last year. Overall I have absolutely loved the car and the staff have always been helpful with meeting my requirements for servicing. The sales experience as a whole was great, Ill admit I wasnt the most easy customer, picking, choosing , changing and taking a while to make up by mind but their salesman Doug (i think his name was) was fantastic. He was patient and a real pleasure to deal with 5/5 because I would definitely recommend to friends and have!
Dealt with Ian Glew (Service Manager) and iam pleased to say, it was a great experience with his service and understanding towards what needed to be done to my Mitsubishi Triton. If anyone needing there vehicle serviced, do not hesitate and take it to Mitsubishi Melville!! Ill defiantly be taking my Business to Melville Mitsubishi for now on. P.s if you tell the service manager specifically what needs to be done and be straight forward then the process will work out smoothly.
Definitely wouldnt buy a car off these guys again. The car I looked at had a few accessories on it. When i eventually purchased the car, the accessories had mysteriously disappeared. Apparently the "cleaners" threw them out. They would not replace these accessories either. Very disappointed in the end. Very pushy & annoying sales people as well. I suggest you try another dealer
Over all buying Experience has been somewhat tainted, got a bill in the mail to now licence the vehicle for another year which I was not expecting and wasnt told, rang dealership and was advised it was on my contract and should have read it. This coupled with me not really liking the vehicle (my fault, rushed) guess Im stuck with it now.
Be great if they had Saturday morning vehicle servicing. Make life easier for me. Its either take a day off work to get my car serviced or find someone who can take it there. Or dont bother getting the service. I guess it will never happen, profits first, stuff the customer. Without customers you dont get any profits?
visited the dealership to buy a new car and having bought a number of cars in the past, found the service and expertise to be outstanding. If you are looking to buy a new car i highly recommend you see these guys first. Many thanks to Mario, Tavern and Alex on such friendly and honest service.
The team at Melville Misubishi showed their generous support at our annual Royal Fremantle charity golf day when they supplied a brand new ASX SUV for our hole in one competition. They were a pleasure to deal with and without sponsors like them we wouldnt have had the success we did.
