I have had amazing service from Melville Mazda. I have needed a new car for the past 2 years. My husband is a Toyota man so I knew I would be getting a Toyota but I could not bring myself to start the process of buying a new car. My sister came on holiday and encouraged me to check out the Mazda CX-5. From the moment we walked in to the dealership we were made to feel welcome. A lovely young man, Browny, went out of his way to assist us. I test drove the Mazda 3 but the CX 5 was out on a test drive when we returned. Browny brought the CX 5 to my home that very evening so that I could test drive it. He gave me all the information needed and was very patient about waiting until my husband could manage to get to the dealership. (three weeks later) Browny knew I hated haggling so the process was not a long, drawn out one. Browny must have impressed the husband because he signed for a Mazda, although the CX5 is pretty impressive:) We then met more of the crew at Mazda Melville - Clinton, the handsome magician; Laurent(sorry if I have the wrong spelling) the cute young man with the french accent and the gorgeous Brooke, who made getting finance a breeze - what can I say guys- 110%! I will get the car next week but I thought I would write a review because I had an amazingly good buying experience and that is a rare experience for me. I am sure that through my Zoom Zoom journey of services etc Mazda Melville will always be a good place to visit. Thank you to all the staff at Melville - I experienced first hand, "... that commitment to quality and excellence from the first time I walked into the Dealership."
I have owned new Mazdas since 1993, I purchased my 6th new model a CX5 Maxx sport Diesel with safety pack. the sales process was very stressful as the sales lady insisted on taking full control of an elusive negotiation and the process was all scribbled down on a piece of paper. I insisted that something was not correct with her calculations, after signing the deal and going home I noted that I had payed an extra $1100.00. A call to the sales lady resulted in her once again taking control of an elusive conversation. After a complaint to the manager I was given a gift voucher for $500.00 Still leaving me $600.00 out of pocket. On pick up of the vehicle the sales lady refused to do the handover. soon after I returned my CX5 to service department for a wheel alignment and wheel balance check, I was told that a wheel alignment and wheel balance was carried out, I was given no documentation to support this. I took my CX5 to another dealer. Wheel alignment and wheel balance was carried out and a was given a report that showed pre and post wheel alignment measurements. So knowing all of this I purchased mt 7th Mazda from another dealer. Dear Melville Mazda, Thanks for the reply to my Review. My reply to you is; I have a full record and documentation of the purchase, the sales ladys name, Service department Repair Orders and It was Greg Dean, that gave me the $500.00 gift voucher. Fantastic Place, Great Experience I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Melville Mazda. As you can see I gave 5 stars. This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. More specifically I would like give high praise to Clinton (Branch Manager) and Colin Berry (Sales Consultant). Not only were they extremely genuine and a gentleman to boot, but also a true professional. I did not walk in to Melville Mazda at 6:30pm on a Wednesday night intent on leaving there with a new vehicle, but the more time that I spent talking to Colin about my situation at that time the more inclined I became. His knowledge and experience about sales was far superior to that of the salesman that I encountered at other local dealerships in the past. His approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all. He found a way to make it work in my favor and I couldn’t have asked for much more than that. Not only did I get to leave Melville Mazda with a brand-new Mazda CX-9, but I also left with my dignity still intact. Thank you, Colin! Thanks also go out to Branch Manager Clinton for his assistance. Finally, this would not have been possible without the help of Louisa. Thank you for your patience and for staying late to wrap the deal up.
I just picked up my new CX 9 today, and am extremely impressed with the car. Mazda - you have done a great job. From my selection, ordering and taking possession of my car, Colin Crawford has provided exceptional service, keeping me up to date all the way. His handover, was thorough, and professional, and I drove away feeling completely comfortable with the car. The only other staff member that I have had any dealings with to date is Louisa Baker. Literally days before I placed my order, I went in to have one more look at the CX9. It happened to be M Day. I had my youngest daughter with me, whose name happens to start with M. Louisa made a huge fuss over my daughter and made her feel like the most important person in the world, especially since it was her M Day. After ordering the car, Louisa provided exceptional service in providing me with the accessories that I needed without being too pushy. Based on the two staff that I have dealt with, I have no hesitation in recommending Melville Mazda.
I cannot thank Chris McCarthy enough for going above & beyond in securing what I consider a fantastic deal in purchasing a new Mazda 3 SP25 sedan for myself & my husband. After a pretty horrible experience with another Mazda dealer, I was really anxious about trying again, but friends had told us that they had purchased a new car at Melville Mazda 6 months before & were very happy. Chris went out of his way to make the whole process smooth & easy and I cannot say enough about his outstanding & genuine customer service. Brooke in the finance dept was just lovely & also made us feel at complete ease & followed through with the finance deal very quickly with a great deal. In fact everyone that I met at Melville Mazda were very nice - the whole team seemed like one big happy family. Thank you to all including the management team. I would highly recommend Melville Mazda. 10 stars for me.
We went to Melville Mazda after having a poor experience with another Mazda dealership, which nearly put us off Mazda altogether! Luckily one of our friends had recently purchased a brand new car through Justin S. at Melville, and encouraged us to get in touch with him. I called him in the morning, and he offered to meet up that same day, and by the afternoon we had made the offer, and signed on a new car! he was really thorough and listened to what we wanted, and we got a good deal. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he kept in touch as the finance was sorted out, and organised to have the car delivered within the week. Justin was so lovely, went through all the features of the car, including introducing me to DAB and all the old school songs! Cannot speak highly enough of him, or the dealership there :) Thanks so much, Esta
