My review is about a used car (not a Kia) purchased from Joe Crisafio Kia. The salesman wouldnt let me write a contract until all the negotiations were done verbally. This verbal negotiation consisted of the salesman leaving us, saying he would take it to Joe, then coming back with an answer saying Joe would not negotiate on price as the selling price of the vehicle had already been reduced. I did want the car, so signed a contract at the verbal price. Normally I would ask to write a contract at a price that I think is fair, then let the vendor accept or reject it. If it is accepted, then there is a binding contract. I consider that not having the opportunity to write a contract at a price I consider I am prepared to pay is a form of bullying by the vendor. So once I signed the contract at the verbally agreed price, then the whole focus changed to trying to secure my agreement to have all servicing of the vehicle done by them for many years in the future, by offering a service contract that basically is an insurance policy that when the crunch comes, and there was some fault to be fixed, then there were so many clauses in the policy that they can wriggle out of honouring the claim. Needless to say, I have my preferred service agent to do my vehicle servicing. Next problem, was trying to get the vehicle licence papers. I did receive a "Transfer of Vehicle" form some week and a half later in the mail, but not the actual licence paper that contained all the vehicle ID information. After going back to them, and requesting I be given what should have been given to me when I picked the vehicle up, they claimed I could not have the current licence paper as it would contain the name and address of the previous owner and this would breach "privacy" provisions. My continued request for a copy of the licence paper, did end up causing Joe to come out of his office to see what was going on. This is the only time I have ever met Joe. He then peddled the "privacy" argument as well. I insisted that I wanted some form of paper that showed the licence details of the vehicle. He did say, leave it with them. I had a coffee in their lounge, and to their credit, some 10 minutes later they gave me a Licence Form that is a "Duplicate of Licence Paid", at their expense, so I did receive a form from Licencing that had the details of the vehicle and when the licence next expires, which was what I was after in the first place. After the "non negotiation" on the price, they did offer to fill the tank with fuel before we took delivery. We did stipulate that this vehicle requires 95 RON fuel. Today I had a test done on the fuel, which showed the tank had been filled with 91 RON fuel. The fuel flap clearly indicates 95/98 RON fuel. If a request like this cannot be done correctly, then how can I trust that other aspects of my vehicle will be serviced correctly, being a non Kia at a Kia dealership. They would also not have the technical knowledge or the correct computer diagnostics or the detailed service manuals other than for a Kia.
We were looking for small new family car, and been visited Joe Crisafio Kia at Osborne park. We met with Mr Nick and discussed all our needs and got total cost for Kia Cerato Sedan 2017, it was over budget for us so we put an offer as per our budget, initially it was rejected but after that we got call from Nick & Manager Charlee and by mutually understanding we decided to buy car as per discussion. So next day we went to show room again and met Nick to buy car as per previous decision and price discussion over the phone, when we signed the contract we found that the price what we discussed is only for Car value which is not included any other accessories which we discussed initially, we had little bit arguments for what we discussed but it might misunderstood from either Nick or from us, so we decided to leave place as the prices we decided was included all accessories and to add other accessories its add value which is over budget for us but in between Mr Joe came so we explained all conversation and within a 1 minute he gave his decision to Nick that whatever we are asking please give to us, we really impressed that time we never seen this type of customer satisfaction service ever. As we know that may be it misunderstanding between Nick and us, to be very honest we don’t want to buy a car if dealer not happy during all this offer so during paper works we met manager Charlee and asked him that we don’t want this Car and whatever difference in our offer and adding accessories prices we are happy to pay to buy this car, but he rejected our offer and said its all good that todays is your day that you got nice car according to your budget. During our test drive Nick explained each and everything for car and whatever questions we asked we got very satisfactory information from him, he is very knowledgeable and good sales person, he is ASSET of Joe Crisafio Kia at Osborne park. I can say now "Your service, knowledge of cars and peoples skills - second to none". Great experience for me and my high recommendations to everyone, who is looking for a car to buy - go and see Nick/Charlee/Joe and you will get the best from the best!!!!!!!! A fantastic dealership that I would recommend to anyone looking for a new car!! Best Wishes to you, Nick, and Millions of Thank you!!!!!!!! Ankita & Chirag
Very unhappy with the service we received. We brought a secondhand car from them and once they had our money they acted like we didnt exist. We opted to go with a different finance company instead of the one Joe Crisafio was offering as we got a better rate (they add a lot of fees onto it which they dont tell you about- unless you ask or read the fine print). This obviously annoyed them. I was then rudely called by the dealer to get payment, in his words, I dont get my money until the deal goes through so can you hurry up with the payment. I had asked for the invoice 3 times before they sent it to me. I was also told by the dealer that they had done an excellent service on the car and everything gets checked before it goes to sale, We are a small family dealership and look after our cars and customers really well. When the RAC checked it out, the lady told me, the car just needs a service and topping up of basic items, which should be done with every service. They obviously had not done one and when I confronted them about it the dealer got defensive and refused to fix anything (which wasnt major but would have kept a customer happy). When the money came through we called to say we would pick the car up that afternoon and was told, No, not til Monday, the car isnt ready, it hasnt been cleaned. This was Friday. We picked the car up regardless of it being cleaned as we wanted to get away from these people and we needed a car! (If you are wondering why we still brought it after all this- they were great until they got our deposit and then customer service did not exist). Very disappointing experience and would have liked to have walked away happy with my new (used) car. Certainly put a sour taste in my mouth and wont be recommending or buying from Joe Crisafio again.
