Im so frustrated, and annoyed; and dismayed at how I have been treated by your company. Your paperwork CLEARLY states that as a domestic return, I needed to go to Europcar T3/T4. I go to drop off the car at that terminal, and am told I had to take it to terminal 1!!! Thats a 20 minute drive, and by the time we had gotten there the check in had closed and we missed our flight. And had to pay another $130 for new tickets. This is so unfair!! We returned the car with a full tank of petrol; clean, looked after, as requested. And you couldnt hold your end of the bargain of helping us get to our flight on time. We are disgusted, hurt and deceived. And now wont be getting into Melbourne until 5am!!! Thanks Europcar!!!
VERY FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH! Very disappointed with the service I received. We had a late arrival in Perth Airport and had to wait nearly 30 minutes for all the paperwork to be completed with a group of 22 (17 children). They make you pay a $400 deposit for each vehicle and trailer, even if they are on the same booking (meaning $1200 for us)! Furthermore, I received a call after drop off saying they were charging me for damage to the tow bar but when I challenged this no one would call me back, after having to go round in circles trying to get through to an operator. Their customer service definitely needs work.
Its impossible to get through to the Europe Perth airport counter by phone. I have tried numerous times but go round in circles each time. I have called during regular office hours, however I cant get through to a real person. After the automated voice tells me she is putting me through to "the operator", she then says "that number is not valid"! What?? I didnt select a number! So I tried pressing one of the numbers suggested, but that just got me to the same place -- nowhere! I just want some information about my booking next week. This is frustrating, and doesnt bode well for their service in other ways.
Left a phone in the car, there was no one at counter. Called the hotline and they dont bother to log a case at all, having to explain the situation with every single call. Finally agreed upon getting DHL to pick up the phone, 1st trip the phone wasnt there yet after a day, 2nd trip the counter was vacant. No one was bother to offer any additional help. Dont bother on booking with this car rental, they will try to sell you every addon services they can, but when the real crunch comes, you wont be able to get any help.
Hopeless rude staff who play hide and seek of an evening. No notifications of which office/desk/location is open, how find or contact the staff. Got shafted with a tiny car after paying for a large only to be told they are not available. Lift your game europcar
Joined their loyalty program and booked a car. My wife went to pay with her credit card and they completely rewrote the hire agreement in her name leaving us uninsured! (and no loyalty points!)
Very disappointed booked paid in advance and had to pay extra $800 on pickup still fuming!! NEVER EVER AGAIN.
