Oh what a mixed feeling. The initial sales guy was VERY helpful when we were choosing a 2nd hand car, but he couldnt wait to hand us over once we committed to a purchase. The car was dirty, and the battery corroding on delivery and they didnt care. After-sales was a joke as well. Long waits if you telephone in, and even longer waits when you just rock up. They only run one shuttle a day, at 8am, which is horribly inconvenient, and they have have very few hire cars (usually booked several weeks in advance). If you cant get a hire car, and miss the shuttle, they say "too bad" and basically kick you to the curb. My wife and baby were REALLY happy they had to call a taxi and wait by the roadside. On top of that, they always try to add hundreds of dollars of unnecessary work to the capped price servicing. The service department even installed our tow-bar crooked. They are hopeless. They once said my brakes were "critical" in the service report, which they werent. On the next service (without anything being done), they were apparently fine. Hmmm. Oh, and wanting to charge me hundreds of dollars to fix a known-issue that only requires a lube change was just pathetic. I will never service my vehicle with them again. And based ont he poor after-sales and service I have received, will recommend people dont even BUY from them.
Last month, I bought my first new car RAV4 GXL from Big Rock Toyota. I am so happily satisfied with the purchase of my new car and now I think that was the best decision I made to go to Big Rock Toyota. I want to thank specially to Antonio Sargado, the Great Sales Consultant at Big Rock, for his extra-ordinary care. He always greeted us warmly with a smile and updated us time to time as we wanted to get the Silver Pearl colour in the beginning. But, Antonio helped me to choose the Graphite colour, and now everyday, more I see my car, more I love it. Thanks Antonio for helping me choose the Graphite colour as well as the adding genuine accessories to the car. He has excellent knowledge in regards to the car and he helped me on all the steps of buying a new Car. We bought Ascent Sport last week from Big Rock Toyota. Very happy with the new car, reasonable price and all the perks they offered. But ABOVE all that, for me personally, buying car was never this pleasant. The first time my partner and I went to the showroom, JOHN MATTHEWS greeted us warmly, regardless of how we look/dress up and what car we drove at that time. Never in my entire life, I met a salesperson like him that makes you feel recognized. He doesnt discriminate whether you look like a potential buyer or not. Hes just there to help and I can tell hes not all about the money. And with english being my 3rd language, John Matthews patiently listened and explained everything in details even when we asked the same things again and again. I know my accent is frustrating and I usually get rude responses from other salesperson. But no, not from John. Hes cool and funny guy. Very polite too! Im sure other salespersons in Big Rock Toyota are nice folks too, but if I come back for another car in the future, Ill come back to the same John Matthews. Hopefully hell still be around then =)
On the 18-9-14 I bought a new Kluger from Big Rock Toyota. So far I am extremely happy with the inside and outside of the jeep. All the accessories on the Jeep are very well done. The motor can hardly be herd at all, only when you speed up. It also goes very smoothly, its like it glides. There is heeps of space and it is very comfortable. I was served by John Matthews and I was very happy with the way he served us. He gave me two calls before the jeep came to inform me around when it would come and he was very friendly and upfront about everything. Before I went to this store I asked in a few different places and because we wanted a color that wasnt available at that time the max time I was told was four months for it to arrive but here I was told max 3 weeks and it came in one week and a few days. Over all I was amazed by the jeep, the assistance and the help that I got from John. My family and me are very happy with Big Rock Toyota and especially with the store in Wanneroo Balcatta and with the assistance. We are looking forward to all the space and going out.
The only car dealership to use when looking for a new or used car. We bought our Yaris there recently and the service was second to none. From my very first email inquiry to later purchase they were efficient and helpful. They even had one of the girls sit with my little one in our hire car as she had fallen asleep, leaving me free to talk with the sales man. I dealt mostly with John and he could not have been more helpful in providing me with all the information I needed to helping me get on the road. Of the other sales people I met at Big Rock all were knowledgeable about their products and cars, and were helpful. I am yet to experience their after care but if it is anything like the pre-sales care then I wont be disappointed. Their car checks and maintenance program also helps in confidently buying a car that is of good quality, something you want in buying a used car at least, as we did. I will and have recommended Big Rock and John to friends who are thinking of getting a new car. I will be using them when we need to upgrade to a new and bigger car.
I came into Big Rock, with the mindset of exactly what I wanted. The guys were absolutely amazing, not the usual pushy sales people that I have dealt with in the past! They actually sat down and wanted to get to know YOU first, instead of just what car you want, which was a nice change. The process was all taken care of and the finance side did all of the hard, nitty gritty work that was required with ease and to try and suit me as best as possible. I dealt with Alex as my sales person who was so welcoming, worked with you and what you wanted, didnt push you into something you didnt want. Every time I came in I was offered coffee and biscuits by the lovely people, Alex remembered me every time I came in and always greeted me with a warm welcome. I felt appreciated and greatly looked after, was a really good car buying experience. The people from reception to the detailing were down to earth, understanding and willing to help. Alex, Deb, Mark and Warren, absolute brilliant team :)
I bought a 2014 corolla on 30 December 2016 and it was shipped to south Australia depot 11 days later. I was told the delivery would take 5 days but it is fine considering the public holidays. Big rock Toyota does sell cars with good deals and guarantees, but the customer service I had was not so good. First, I was provided the wrong bank details of big rock Toyota and the full payment was refunded which charged me $5 Reject return fee; my phone number provided to the car carrier was wrong as well so I had to dial the service manager of big rock Toyota and get the number of the local car carrier to ask for the car pick up details (my car sale consultant was on leave that day). However, the car condition was as good as described, the only pity is it does not come with the floor mats. I will definitely advise my friends to buy used cars from big rock Toyota if they still have good deals in the future, just wish their salespersons could be more professional and responsible, cheers!
