I called short notice and got a Corolla. Walked in did the paperwork which took all of fifteen minutes, paid and drove away. The car was clean and tidy, a late model -only a few months old. Drove it for the long weekend -unlimited ks on the contract are a breathe easy option. All I did was put fuel in and wash off the bugs and bulldust. Returned the car and the keys to the secure key return (actually not easy to find and I wasnt shown where it was when I hired the car) and less than 48 hours later my deposit had been returned to my c card. All good, friendly service, clean and good working order. Very satisfied.
Average service. Got stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire and because we took the out the top cover, we assumed that we would be covered for road side assistance. We were informed (by an unfriendly customer service memeber, who had to get the manager to call us) that we were in fact not covered and either had to pay $75 on the stop or change the tire ourselves (being three girls who have no idea on how to do that!). We also received a speeding fine (granted our fault) however we were charged $25 just for Bayswater to read the fine and forward it on! Pretty average service....
At first when I picked the car up I wasnt 100% happy with it when I got home, there was a large scrape on the front bumper and dirt/dog hair in the boot and the front seat as if someone had been moving plaster board with a dog haha. I called the office as I just wanted them to know mainly that it wasnt from me, the lady in the office was very helpful and knew I lived not far away and insisted on me bringing it back and getting a different one, that had just been cleaned. Very happy with the whole experience, cheap, friendly and loved waving at the other "no bird" drivers
the staff continue to be surly and unhelpful i am not sure if they have purposefully retained our deposit ( to this date) by bamboozling us with damage that we did not cause. we were not offered an inspection before taking the car - keys just handed over from behind the counter Surprise, surprise, on our return damage to the passenger side, rear bumper which was parked away from our first view, was found immediately I would recommend you look elsewhere for competitive prices and staff who are keen to start your holiday in a friendly fashion
We are from Bairnsdale in Victoria & found the front desk staff at Freo really helpful. The Toyota Corolla was a good size for The little streets in Perths suburbs, & parking. One minor item was no water in windscreen wiper bottle, but if thats the worst of it then no worries. Id probably ditch the minor extra charge for a second driver, & perhaps consider additional cash / eftpos payment options. We took the extra option to reduce excess to nil & found that good. In short good value for money.
This is the cheapest option around and the process to rent was simple and easy. The staff was friendly, but not concerned with the cleanliness of the car. When I first got the car it was vacuumed inside, but the plastic paneling was filthy. I dont expect a rental car to be detailed every time I rent it, but on a need-be basis would get the stickyness & smell out. I will not rent from here again, as I prefer not to have to wash the inside of my rental car before driving it.
Smooth, efficient and good value. The car was in good condition, and clean. Very good customer service from the staff in Fremantle. Two small issues only. The first GPS unit I had didnt charge, but was replaced without problem. But there apparently is a policy of not equipping the cars (Corolla hatch) with a cover over the baggage compartment. While understanding that clients might lose them, this creates a security issue when parking with baggage in the boot.
Very happy with Bayswater Car Rental. Easy location to find, friendly staff and cars clean and in good condition. Any previous damage was shown to me and recorded. very reasonable rates too. Only meant to keep the car for a few days to get down to Canberra, but ended up keeping it for 2 weeks as it was such good value and it allowed us to see a lot more of NSW and ACT. Would defo use again. Return of car couldnt have been easier too. Use em - theyre great!
Quite good, but an extra $98 was added onto our original quote when I went to pay, so I needed to sort that out. The back area cover was missing, which is probably fine for a lot of customers, but I needed it to hide my gear from prying eyes, but was told we dont have these, but I might be able to find one out the back. It is fine removing these as a default, but if a customer needs it, please just give it to them - dont make it a big deal.
I rented from them based on positive reviews on here and wasnt disappointed. Easy walk from downtown. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the car was fine. They make those of us who come from countries where we drive on the other side increase the insurance which is a good idea for all concerned. :) Was surprised when we dropped off a couple of hours early that they actually reduced the cost to reflect that. Would use again.
Very competitive car renting price available in Sydney! Their website have a flawless design and I am able to check and compare the price easily. They only feature Toyotas which I think they are very all-rounded with good fuel economy. I did a round trip from Sydney to Brisbane in 7 days in their Tarago, nothing to say, a comfy and smooth ride. Definitely will have another renting with them next time, no better choice in Sydney!
I rented a Toyota Corolla from Bayswater Car Rentals Sydney in mid October 2014 and it was great - low price, brand new car, fast pickup, fast drop-off. You dont want anything more from your car rental agency. But as a car rental agency Bayswater Car Rentals knows nothing about CRM - spamming me by sending me the same "We’d love to hear about your recent experience with us" email five times in two days is rubbish. Duh.
Great Car Rental Service. A no frills service means no surprises either! Clear pricing policy and really good value compared to the other players in this market. I have used Bayswater No Birds Car Rental in Fremantle twice on visits to WA and each time I have been delighted with both the cars (Toyota Corolla in white - no choice, but excellent) and the no surprises approach of the company. Highly recommended.
Ever since I moved to Perth which was 5 years ago I have used no other car rental service other than Bayswater Car Rental in Fremantle. Excellent and quick service. The cars are always reliable and easy to drive. Prices very reasonable. Due to my many happy experiences, I have decided to save money on buying a car - since I only use it occasionally - and rely on Bayswater Car Rental when ever I need one.
I lately rented a car from Fremantle branch. The service was friendly and courteous and the Corolla was a pleasure to drive. My only disappointment was when I found out the boot cover wasnt there, which forced me to clear the boot at all times for security reasons. I suggest customers should be asked on delivery and before they drive away if they wanted the boot cover re-installed. Thank you.
