How do you no stars. I brought 2 vehicles into landrover to be serviced. The are ex defence vehicles that used to be serviced there when land rover still had the defence contract. They went in for a service (minor) and were sent to an auto electrician up the road. First i was told that they had both been serviced and there were no problems. And they were at the auto electrician a week and half later i rang landrover for the 3rd time requesting an update. Aside from the phone ringing and no one picking up the phone. It was revealed to me that the vehicles had not even been serviced its now been 3 weeks and my vehicles are still there. The service department ( well the office staff) have lied and miss communicated the entire duration they have had the vehicles. Consistant promises of return phone calls and false and misleading information when i have been able to make contact. Ive been told the service is sitting at rougly 2,500 for one of the vehicles. Granted: i exspected it to be more exspensive due to the auto electrician and my request for all the oils and coolant dropped . But i still can not trust how long the vehicles sat there doing nothing yet being charged for labour. The price is not the issue It is the lack of integrity and communication to customers. I am an Australian veteran who was takeing these Landrovers to Melbourne for a trip with fellow serving and former members of the Australian Army and WA police. A large nunber suffer from ptsd and its caused nothing but extreme stress to us. As i made all staff aware of our intentions and time line i was ensured no more than 3 -4 days. After this experience with landrover barbegallo i have lost complete respect for the land rover brand. Even though myself and the rest of the Australian defence force would have a great relationship with there vehicles over the years. Service counter staff need to hold themselves accountable for lieing to customers. And not point fingers the mechanics work to get the vehicles out the door. Counter staff if you cant provide accurate and honest information id consider the dealership principal look at re training or use of effective customer relationship skills. This has caused some of the group extreme stress and a lack of respect towards us as customers. I will continue to post reviews with updates as landrover barbegallo service continue to tarnish there brand atleast amongst a group of veterans. Integrity Loyalty Respect Courage Teamwork
Great dealer, they always go above and beyond and exceed my expectations, they have been very helpful with assisting with my Range Rover over the years. Would definitely recommend buying and servicing you vehicle with Barbagallo, I will be upgrading mine shortly!
