You do not want to go to this service centre, believe me. Let me tell you why. A tall guy without glasses working at this shop (25 July morning) tried to rip me off! Here is the story: My battery keep going flat, after I replaced the battery twice, 5 days later the new battery was drained again, so I today I seek for help. @around 8:30am 25 July I meet that tall guy at the shop he said he will have a look, after 5 minutes of touching my battery and my alternator he said my alternator is dead and needs replacement, AT THE COST OF $550. I explained to him that my car was not starting up last night so I jump started it and I DROVE IT FOR 20 MINUTES TO CHARGE THE BATTERY so that this morning I can drive my car to the service shops. And yes this morning MY CAR CAN START (why the night before? because my friends car will be gone in the morning) Thats pretty much saying and showing THE FACT that my alternator IS WORKING and CHARGING the battery, why you asked me $550 to replace it??? Then, I said :"may I have you card so that I can call you and make an appointment for the job later next week?". He said :"Well, if you are not doing it now you need to pay me $60 before you leave" (remember he has spent 5 minutes touching my battery) What makes this matter more interesting: 1. @8am I want to "Battery world", the technician there tested my battery and alternator PROPERLY and said both my battery and alternator are perfectly fine, he even SHOWED ME THE READING that the voltage is 14V when my car is running, 14V! convincing right?! 15 minutes of testing performed by "Battery world" in Bentley, FREE OF CHARGE! 2. @8:45am, after seeing this UNHONEST worker at Automaster, I went to another place ("Power crank" in Welshpool), this time I asked before he start, "how much does it cost to check my battery?" "Dont be silly mate" he said. After another 20 minutes of checking, my alternator is perfect, battery is good, but there is something wrong in the circuit that draining power from my battery while I am not diving. Appointment made, full check by Power crank next week. Here is my question: 1. Battery check is free else where, why you charge me $60 for a 5 minutes job? 2. Okay, you said you have found the problem is the alternator, why 2 other professionals said my alternator is good but you want $550 from me to replace it? 3. Is that your standard to saying:" you are not paying? OK you wasted my time, dont come here again."? (Ofcoz we wasted both of our time, and for sure I wont be back again, and now I am helping the others by telling them "NOT TO WASTE YOUR AND THEIR TIME" I have spent a long time writing this, why? you think about it and decide whether you still want to do business with this service centre.
Hi I Everyone, I like to share my experience with these guys. I have a Holden caprice and my previous mechanic while changing my cars headlights had misplaced few screws of the cover, bcz of its electric module got water damage. I come to these guys to check all modules and fix the problem. They find the faulty module order it and while they waiting for part to arrive..., car was sitting with no one working on it. After changing the module they changed me $480 (4-hours) just for labor. And $400 something for parts. I know they think the client are fool... I was sitting there whole time and can see my car while it sitting there... now come to main thing why they even dont deserve 1star. After few day water comes back in light again and upon calling them they I need to take car to Holden dealerships to check all seels. When I took car to Punjab Motors for service and told they about headlights issue. He show me still the screws was missing on the light where they f....king working 4 hours and charge me $480 as a labor.. thats show how Good they are... I hope that $480 goes long way for you guys.. we are not fool..
Unbelievable rip off. I went there to give the car a full service. The guy there called " Mark " came up with 100 issues with the car .. ( NOT a problem ) .. I decided to fix them. But when he gives me the car with a NEW problem that wasnt there at the first place.. thats really a problem. The break Pads were perfect and had no noise at all. After paying over 300 dollars for new ones for my wheels and another 700 dollars for other car maintenance issues. Mark didnt even bother giving the car a check when I came back and complained about the noise in the break pads. Instead, he said theyre brand new so its common that theyll make noise and itll be gone soon. Its been 3 months, and the noise is getting worse every single day. Theyre for sure not brand new. I do not recommend this branch of Auto Masters.
Had over $4500 worth of work done on my car (they had it for over a week), broke down 2 months later and had another $500 worth of work done and the same system broke less than 6 months later. Rang auto masters and was told that they cant guarantee warranty as the paperwork only had some details on it and I would need to tow it to them for them to give me a quote. Had another mechanic come round and fix it for half the price and no hassles. He told me that most of the things which were replaced didnt need doing and that most of our money had been wasted. Had zero issues with the car before servicing with auto masters but since, it has broken down twice in 8 months. Wont be coming back.
Recently went to Auto Masters in Welshpool, as I had an accident in my car the week before heading off on a family road trip. I dealt with Mark who was not only extremely polite and accommodating to my need to get my car fixed quickly and safely, but also had very competitive pricing. I have returned from my holiday to Kalbarri and the car ran perfectly. Thank you to Mark and his team for helping us get on the road for our much anticipated holiday, I will definitely be recommending this branch to others!

I had a brake issue and they quickly discovered my local mechanic had left a clamp on one of my breaks after a service. John sent me off free of charge for my previous mechanic to fix the mistake. Ill definitely be using Auto Masters Welshpool for my services in future!!
