terrible experience with this place. I provided feedback after the service and of course nothing has happened. My partners car have been serviced with them for several time and they never filled water or coolant or anything properly even though they ticked yes for all of them. we were told that they would register/activate our road side assistance 2 times and they never did it. My car broke down twice soon after the last 2 services and we had to struggle with calling around and around to arrange a tow truck to transfer our car back to the centre. of course every single time, they found something to replace while not long ago in the service they said everything was fine. The most recent one, we had to stop the car on freeway due to overheating (and no doubt, our road side assitance was not activated). anyway, they blamed it on whatever part and needed to be replaced. we left the car there for a week before they called and asked us to bring the car back for them as the part ordered had arrived... we were speechless! our car was there guys, how could we drive with overheating car away? then 2 days after getting the car back, it was overheated again. we called them to see if we could come on that day to check and received a NO as no slot free but when we actually came over, the girl at the desk advised that we should have the car service on that day too (so yes, more money). we got our car serviced anyway, and they said there was nothing wrong with the cooling system. guess what, 2 days after which is today, our car is overheated again. It is Saturday guys and my dad is in hospital. we need the car working to go there... it is absolutely ridiculous. this place is nothing but asking for money for replacing parts. honestly, if there have been lots of complaints about them keep asking us to change parts, then their cars apparently are not good enough dispite their brand. or their service department is just a biggest liar and only tries to suck money out of their customers. absolutely disguisting
Went in there today (17/12/13), looked at one of their used cars, told the salesman I wanted to purchase it, and Id be speaking to my finance broker to organize my own finance. I left my contact details expecting a callback. Martin called me later that afternoon, took my details down (including my drivers license number, address, date of birth, and the details of my vehicle as a trade in) and his words were that he would hold the car and would organize the paperwork so I could make the 80km trip back to their premises tomorrow and sign the contracts. During this call he also agreed that the car would be sold with an additional 3 months registration, and that my Hyundai would be used as a trade in to make up the balance of the sale price. An hour and a half later, Martin calls me to tell me theyve sold the vehicle to someone else. His defense was that he couldnt hold the vehicle unless Id paid a deposit, which is not what I was told when he called me the first time. His requests for my personal information came with the phrase "so I can hold the car." When I brought up his telling me earlier that he was "holding" the car until I could come in, his defense was that I had not paid a deposit and therefore the car was still for sale. Had he called me when the second buyer arrived and said "someone is offering cash and wants to buy it now, youll need to pay a deposit to secure the car", I would have paid a deposit over the phone immediately. I have now organized finance for a car that I has been sold to someone else, and am now unable to source an equivalent vehicle from elsewhere for the same price. I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from this dealer and will not be recommending them to anyone.
Due to my ongoing problems, I decided I would share my story for anyone looking at using Allpike to purchase or service a vehicle. Purchased my 2010 Citroen C5 through used cars in Dec 15. The whole experience with the Used Car sales person was very poor, including the delivery of the vehicle which took days longer than it should have. He was always out and never returned my phone messages. As it turned out the tyres needed to be replaced as it was not road worthy for delivery. After specifically clarifying (2 witnesses to this conversation) with the Allpike staff that the extended wty was transferrable if I sold the vehicle in the next 5 years, I decided to purchase the Harrier Premium Extended Wty for $1200. At a recent service, I was advised that the wty is not transferable. Discussed wty situation with Hayden in October, who was looking into a solution for me, however now is not answering texts or taking my calls. I recently noticed some uneven tyre wear and so took my car to my local tyrepower. They showed me the spare (which shows as being checked during my service at Allpike, and has been in the boot since I purchased the car), which I saw was bald on one side. So after 12 months, I now see that they sold me a wty that I would not have purchased if I knew it was not transferrable, and an un-roadworthy vehicle due to tyres not meeting basic government standards. All in all, I love the car but the sales, and after care service is non-existent. I will be looking for another dealership for my servicing, and would not purchase another vehicle through Allpike.
Hi, I sent a Citroen this year 2016 with only 82,000Km on Odometer, for an electrical problem as the dash board did not indicate which gear I was in. I was charged $160 for 1 hour of diagnosis for the representative to call me and told me: "Your battery is dead and we need a battery to keep the diagnostic in" then waited for me to answer. I assume that was to try to sell me a new battery. Now the fact is the battery was new and still under warranty, when I informed this to the representative he came back to me: "Perhaps we should charge the battery". Curiously, afterwards no problem with the battery, the battery is perfectly fine! In brief, we have 1 hour to find out a battery is flat (I am sure anyone reading is quicker to diagnose a flat battery) and a Mechanic that does not know both to check the date on the battery indicating the battery is only 4 months old and that car battery can be recharged. Either way, I cannot see how this can be reflected as a honest dealer. After that, of course, they claimed mechanical problem for a bill as expensive as the car, which according to Citroen engineers and French blogger, is extremely unlikely. I cannot trust them, and I prefer warning other to be careful when servicing or repairing their French car. Perhaps, it is all my misunderstanding, though I do not see how to explain the battery matter except by the dishonesty of All Pike representatives.
Haha, reading everyone elses bad luck stories I thought I should tell mine. Bought a 307 - love the car. Anyway, got offered a free check up service with the new car. I couldnt make the date they booked me in to (FIFO) so I changed the date. Dropped off the car, came back that arvo and BOOM- $800. was told they carried out the first service not the free one!!!! never did get the free one, never got a clean car back either like others mention. Anyway, that premature first service has meant that my log book is out of whack. I knew this, the service manager knew this cos I told him about the situation and my disappointment. Anyway, booking in for a service ~50,000 km on the clock I made a point of Not wanting the 80,000 km service which the log book suggested was next. Service booking was taken and I was assured it would be a regular service. You guessed it at 50,000km done I got my 80,000km service and it came in at $1800 from memory. I expressed my disappointment and Ive never been back. So, Never got a clean, every service pushed $1000, and one nearly $2000. Got a new remote key and was quoted $150 over the phone, cost me double that!!! didnt mention the programming and servicemans time when quoted over the phone what a replacement would cost. Love my car but Im getting a Toyota next time and never using these blokes again. Avoid at all cost.
