I have been a happy customer of the Automotive Workshop for at least 15 years, after an initial recommendation from a friend, and I have never been disappointed. Each of my past three Subarus has benefitted from Terry’s particular expertise with this brand. I have nothing but praise for his friendly and professional service. For example, after encountering a particularly puzzling problem with my previous car (a Subaru Liberty, identical to Terry’s) he actually swapped parts from his own car to help diagnose the problem with mine (an onboard computer error). This is dedication beyond the grounds of duty. On my last service, he recommended an exhaust gas recycler clean for my Forester diesel before a long drive to Lismore, NSW. Afterwards, I felt compelled to email that the car was significantly more powerful and responsive. I have already recommended the Automotive Workshop to several of my friends, and I have no hesitation in making a public recommendation here.

i have to say Im very disapointed. I was given my car back with lose wheel nuts. It was only apparent to me after driving about 10km from their workshop. When I noticed a slight noise, Im a tad nevus about my cars so when I get work done I drive with the radio off. My wheel nuts where on by about half a turn. So I got out of my car unpacked my wheel brace from under the seat and tightened them. When I got home I had to jack up my car and re tighten them as they dont align probably with weight on the wheel. I called the automotive workshop and terry apologized and offered me a 50 dollar refund. I said how can you put money on a life hes just lucky my route home wasnt on a highway because my 2.5 tonne ute at 100km/h would have caused a lot more damage then 50 dollars worth.

The owner is a ripoff merchant, looked over a second hand car for me, it needed a few jobs done and he quoted me $800 to $850 to get the jobs done. I agreed to get the jobs done and asked him to call if there were any other issues that might raise the price. I was at work when my car was ready, so I gave a mate of mine my bank card and pin number to go and collect it for me! Not only did he charge me $1350 (which was $500 more than I was quoted) but he didnt even do the jobs he said he was going to do! DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC!!!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! The old white haired bloke who owns this place should be in prison.

Very reliable and honest people. We had a problem in our campervan and they made their best to fix it for a really good price. Thank you so much for your job.
