Quite disappointed today with the finish I received for my Navara, I dont want to list the items but everything seemed to be nearly there regarding the final product. As we are mid winter there was not too many cars in to be cleaned but I still didnt get a phone call to say it was ready and I didnt get a good finish.. I returned to my car about 2 hours after I left it to find it parked away from the main run of vehicles as if it was moved out of the way of everything (which is ok if I were running late to pick it up but I didnt even know it was ready) The car wash sent someone to clean what I wasnt happy with but he wasnt giving it his all to impress, all I kept getting was anything else? (This was after I had walked another guy around my car...) I must admit I gave up in the end and left but I have just spent another hour with my rags and product cleaning the areas I was not happy with.... Im not that fussy but when you can see areas have been missed you want them clean.. I have been here before on several occasions with this and other vehicles and have been relatively happy with the wash, but this time is a disappointment.... During winter (your low season) you should be going the extra mile as the cars you are washing in winter will be the same ones who come back in summer... I hope I get a better job next time! Steve
We asked for the $37 was is called the "full valet". We were greeted by an employee who insisted we take the $48 wash as it would include polishing of the interiors of the car. We politely declined. We told him that we were happy with the wash and vaccum and then we proceeded to pay for the wash inside. The car was returned to us 45 mins later in a very untidy condition. There were grime marks all over the white car and sand in the interior and the back of the car almost exactly as we handed it in. When we complained to a staff member, he said this is all we do for a basic wash. When in fact the wash is entitled "full Valet". Then another man approached us and told us that we would have gotten a clean car only if we have paid an extra $11. He was extremely rude, unfriendly and not the tiniest bit apologetic. He even tried to shut the door on me as i was leaving. Extremely unprofessional staff and manager. Save your money. Go to automated car wash at the BP instead.
Its hard not to feel cynical about Australian businesses when dealing with places like Waves Car Wash. As soon as you arrive you have to deal with dodgy sales tactics designed to gouge as much cash from you as possible. I had to continue to repeat that I just wanted the outside of the car washed and each time they quoted me $45, which is the price for inside and out. The outside price is $30. When I kept insisting on outside only, they gave me an incredulous look, clearly designed to make me feel like there was something wrong with a person who didnt want to pay them more money. When I told them my car was keyless entry they said it would be another $5 to make sure the car didnt lock with the keys inside. I left without getting the wash and just did it myself later on. This business, like so many others, is a disgrace and not interested in customer service in the slightest.
Do NOT use this car wash.. it is so bad that the assistant manager who organised our interior detail resigned before our complaint could be rectified. We took our newly purchased second hand van (granted it was pretty dirty from previous owners) and paid $376 for a full interior detail. What a waste of money, the interior plastics were still dirty when we picked it up and when I pointed this out they claimed wed have to pay extra to have them wiped over?? After they steam cleaned the interior they used an air gun to blow the dust & dirt out of the seat rails and left the debris all over the carpet?? When we complained to the manager we were treated appallingly and basically told wed have to pay more to have the problems fixed.. We do not recommend these guys at all, they need to improve their quality of work and customer service.
Today I had two cars cleaned by the Waves team at Braddon, a cold day to be working at car wash. the team welcomed me with a friendly smile and greeting, told me how long it would take and both tomes the car was ready within the nominated time. Quality was excellent, up to my expectations, the inside was spotless and dust free, the outside had all country driving bug evidence removed. Well done to the team. Appreciated the effort and attention to detail.
This is a drive through automated car wash with detailing prices. It was $52 to wash the outside and vacuum the inside. It took a long time. I watched as they continually pulled other cars in front of mine while I waited. The final result was a cleaner car (nothing exceptional) and over an hour wait. It is cheaper to go to Star carwash at Canberra center for a hand wash and pay for parking and walk around the mall. I wont go back here again.
Paid for a full detail (not cheap), they had the vehicle for 6 hours... Upon collecting the vehicle discovered that they hadnt cleaned the rear tray... Another 30mins waiting... Then got home to discover that they had removed my antenna & not replaced it... Had to call to find out where theyd hidden it in the vehicle... Very expensive for poor service - but the detailing was very good... 3 stars
First time customer at the Braddon site and I had a wonderful experience! Staff were friendly and helpful in assisting a wash choice (I went with the Extreme Valet). The cafe provided a relaxing environment whilst my vehicle was cleaned and when I collected my car I was happy to receive it spotless! Will definitely be back!
They are doing fantastic job. Today I washed my car there. Very commitment and friendly staff. I never saw in car wash business before a technic they are using. They call it quality board or something like that. They track their quality day by day. Based on that they take action to improve. Isnt amazing?
Quoted $150 for a professional clean, found out it was same as the $45 service, dirt was still on the car. asked for a refund and they refused and started to clean my car again. what a joke.
Havent tried the valet service but the automated car wash is just Ok. Guess the equipment is old now and its not functioning properly. Air drying didnt worked as the sprays were dripping.

Change machine doesnt work. Staff not professional. Water pumps leak. Asks for minimum of $3 even when youre almost finished and only need 30s to rinse. Terrible! Go elsewhere.
It not really good one car wash really disappointed with there service they told 90 mins and took 170 mins and interior was also not cleaned properly waste of money
Very expensive for the service done. Did not vacuum properly, did not clean the door jams. Good system of production line unfortunately the result is low quality.
