Horrible Customer Service (CRC JLR Australia); Reported numerous issues with my 2016 RR Evoque - Breaking and engine rattling sound, SD card reader slot failure, boot lock etc. After follow-ups for over a month, service centre confirmed of engine replacement. However, no ETA was given as the part had to be shipped from UK. Requested a courtesy car but all their cars were exhausted. Requested a replaced car, however, CRC JLR Aus never came back with a response and emailed that its against their ridiculous policy and ultimately had to bear all the charges from my pocket. Now, its been a week after collection of my car with new engine, again its in service centre ended up with smoke from the new replaced engine, previous problem still persists. Reasons received were that few nuts and clangs left loose while engine replacement which resulted in smoke, breaking sound is because its requires new bearing, pending ETA on timeframes. Again, raised it with CRC JLR Australia and as expected they didnt bother to reply. Id the worst experience ever with Range Rover and CRC JLR Australia who have very poor to very little customer service. Or have extremely rude and poorly trained staff who dont know how to approach customers already in trouble but experts in making false verbal commitments. After all this drama happening from last 3 months now, I emailed the CEO and the MD of JLR UK to get a fair outcome, however, no reply. In summary, dont ever buy a Land Rover product if looking for Luxury because you wont get what you expected plus spending money in a black box.
Andrew Yates and his team at Lennock Jaguar went above and beyond for my family.
