Went in for a tyre change and a wheel alignment. They successfully managed to scratch my rims and somehow damage my rear bumper lightly so that the plastic flexed and cracked the paint... I guess from some light impact. I raised it with them but they refused to listen and insulted my knowledge of my own car, saying the damage was already there and that I was trying to scam them. Then pointing out minor scratches that were already there and saying that the whole rear bumper was already damaged and that caused this new damage even though it wasnt there when i dropped the car off but was there after I picked it up. The bullshitting was obvious when they try to associate themselves with you by saying "I also have one of these cars (rotary engine) and I made sure that it was taken care of properly." Then they have no idea when you test their knowledge with some basic facts about the car. Just shows that they care nothing for paying customers and try and wriggle out of compensating you when they damage your car. Would not recommend.
So just got my car services yesterday. Car is now broken down after overheating because radiator was disconnected. These people are the biggest scumbags on earth with no regard for your property or your cars motor. Btw toyota you will pay the full damages for this. The motor the radiator and our ruined holiday. How can you look at your family in the eye when you do this quality of job every day. Never again will i trust someone to service my car.
Actually a really good dealership (coming from someone who normally refers to them as stealerships). Happened to look at the recording from my dash cam and was pleasantly surprised to see our car being driven under the speed limit (and not flogged to death) during the test drive. Capped price servicing takes a lot of stress out of the first 3 years of owning a new car, too. Thought it wouldnt be that great, either but was happily proven wrong.
Ive been trying to book my car in for a service for days now. I keep being put through to an answering machine and have not been called back. I guess it is my own silly fault, I somehow value a complete service history with the dealer, but it looks like the local servo will get this job.
