Although is a good news for TUGT’s but it seriously annoyed the MTT BPS-09.

The reason is that TUGTs upgraded from BS-14 to BS-16 without any conditions, neither service duration nor qualification limit imposed on this upgradation and therofre all the TUGT’s upgraded.

On the other hand , for upgradation of MTT BPS-09 to BPS-14, not only 3 years time duration imposed but also the qualification level is imposed and only 500 teachers upgraded remaing the rest of almost 1100. Most of these 1100 MTT’s are B.A, B.Ed or higher which is the required qualification for BPS-14. But they were deprived off from upgradation.

Matric Trained Teachers concenred that a TUGT (BPS-14) of 2 year experience with F.A, C.T is upgraded to BPS-14 to BPS-16 and the MTT with 2 year experience with qualification of M.A/B.A, B.Ed is not even upgraded to BPS-14.
